Abstract: Over the past quarter-century, the WSEAS has emerged as a significant contributor to international scientific publishing, engineering research dissemination, and global academic cooperation. This article provides a comprehensive evaluation of WSEAS’s role in enhancing Greece’s international scientific presence, particularly through journal indexing in Scopus and other major bibliographic databases. Drawing upon institutional observations from the University of Athens, comparative studies of national Scopus representation, and firsthand experience in peer review, the article highlights WSEAS’s longevity, rigorous quality control mechanisms, transparency measures, and ethical publishing practices. Special attention is given to misconceptions surrounding predatory publishing and how recent evaluations (2025–2026) have definitively clarified WSEAS’s standing as a legitimate, reputable, and internationally recognized academic publisher.
